HWK Salmon & Pesto Creamed Rice

Need to get your good fats in? This meal is an easy and tasty option to promote good heart health. High in protein, good fats and starchy carbs. This meal is evenly balanced. Enjoy as a lunch, dinner or post workout meal. Ideally aim to eat 2 portions of fatty fish per week. Omega 3s found in fatty fish are essential for good helath. Should you struggle to consume fatty fish for whatever reason. This can be supplemented to ensure you get your daily essential vitamins and minerals. Preheat your oven to 190.

On a baking tray add your salmons fillets and season to taste using, salt, pepper, dill and thyme. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through. 

In a saucepan add the philadelphia and pesto, heat until creamy. 

In a wok or similar pan heat the peas and sweetcorn for 2 minutes and a medium setting. Now add rice and heat for a further 5-7 minutes. 

Add the creamy sauce to the rice mixture. And stir until evenly spread. 

Serve the rice and add your salmon fillets. Enjoy.
